Keeping kids safe in Kids' Corner

Kids' Corner is a small, safe social space inside Community, only for kids who know each other in real life.
Who kids can be friends with
- Kids in a friend family.
- Kids in the same class.
- Kids on a team with the same name in the same town.
- Parents in both families must say yes. When they do, the two families become friend families too.
How kids talk
- Kids under 13 pick from an approved list of messages, plus stickers and emojis. They can't type their own words.
- Kids 13 and up can type their own messages.
- A kid without a birthday saved is treated as under 13.
What gets blocked
Every typed message is checked before anyone sees it. Unkind words, phone numbers, addresses, emails, links, school names and plans to meet up are blocked, and the kid's parent can see what was blocked.
What parents can see and do
- Open Community, then Kids' Corner, then Parent view.
- Read every chat and post your kids are part of. Parents in the other family can read them too.
- Pause a kid, end a friendship, or report a message.
Turn it on
- Join Community as a family.
- In Parent admin, turn Community on for each kid.
- Kid friend requests show up under Needs a parent.
