Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026. This is a starter draft and is being reviewed by a lawyer.
What we collect
Parent account emails; the names, ages, birthdays and photos parents add for family members; chores, homework, calendar items, rewards and notes; and voice clips when you choose to use voice features.
How we use it
Only to run jelly beans for your family: showing your calendar and chores, answering questions with the assistant, and recognizing who is speaking if you turn that on. We don't sell your information and we don't show ads.
AI and voice
Questions you ask and things you say to the assistant are sent to AI services to create an answer. Voice samples you record are stored in your family's private space so the app can tell family members apart.
Children's privacy (COPPA)
Children under 13 can't create accounts. A parent adds them and gives consent for the information they enter. Parents can review, change or delete their child's information at any time, and can turn off a child's Community access whenever they like. Contact us to request deletion.
Who can see what
Only people your family invites can see your family's information. Teachers you approve see only their own class items and your child's first name and grade. In Community, other families see only the display name and town you choose and the posts you share.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your information while your family uses jelly beans. When you delete it, we remove it from the app.
